Eliot, Maine -- This is about a tenth of a mile from my house in the other direction, which ironically puts this picture into the next town. This is on top of the hill I live on, looking down the hill west at Eliot. I got here a couple minutes too late. The sun was burning off the ground fog really quickly.

I've been meaning to get out to Eliot to try and work on some scenics. I think it's either Rt. 101 that passes through some hilly areas and has some great views of the countryside, especially towards the west into NH.

Actually your best bet is to go into Dover. If you take 101 over that bridge into Dover, then take your first right (Baer Road), you'll get some great scenery. Then you go about a mile down there and on the right is Silgo Road. That is such a cool road. Or if you stay on Baer Road and you cross Route 4 onto Roberts Road. Great scenery.
Heh, a lot of people have been saying that lately. I'm just about running out of original places to go now though. ту but then once in awhile, like the sunrise pictures I'm going to be posting in the next couple of days, I find a new place I had never been.
