Hole in the Canopy

Dover, New Hampshire -- There's not much of a canopy of trees around here, but from this perspective all you see are the tops of trees with a hole here and there representing a field. We have a few fields but not enough, in my opinion. I like fields. I'm not sure what that tan thing is to the right. It doesn't look like it serves any purpose at all.
